Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (Casual)
We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team on a casual basis, offering flexible shift opportunities in a 24-hour care environment.
About the Role :
As an LPN with Adapt Health Care, you will play an essential role in providing direct nursing care to seniors and individuals with complex health needs. Working alongside interdisciplinary teams, you will help promote the well-being, dignity, and safety of residents in long-term care and other elder care settings.
This position offers flexibility, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your schedule while making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors across New Brunswick.
Requirements
Current Nursing Registration: Must hold an active nursing registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN) without conditions.
Valid Driver’s License: Possess a full Class 5 driver’s license.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a dependable vehicle for commuting.
CPR/First Aid Certification: Hold a valid CPR/First Aid or Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate, issued within the last 12 months.
Experience: Previous experience working in long-term care and/or with the geriatric population is required.
Clinical & Critical Thinking Assessment: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive clinical skills and critical thinking assessment.
Communication & Teamwork: Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
